Thanks Annie, I found them on Pinterest. Did you see they have a cup and saucer too! I have to get these. They would be cute as displays in the library where I work too.

Annie

Dawn, those book plates are really adorable...love them! Good suggestion.

Now you just need to add a book like "What to drink with what you eat" by Andrew Dornenburg and Karen Page. Better yet, get a book-shaped plate like the ones at Webstaurantstore online. They are sooo cute.

Go to www.mysimon.com and search "ice buckets"
You will get 747 choices including a glass one with gold trim that would look terrific on your great new bar cart.

Annie

You guys are so good at suggestions! Thank you for the ideas...I will definitely be implementing several of these.

Shelley

Flour sack dishcloths -- you can get some really pretty ones and they dry better than any others!

Janet S.

You must have a cocktail shaker and some shot glasses.

Mike

A print of the original cover art from Anita Brookner's novel Falling Slowly would be perfect for a bibliophile's bar. I wish I could find the name of that artist/painting...

Jenne

Silver tongs for the ice. Maybe some classy tea towels for minor spills? And coasters - there are a lot of fun coasters out there for when you serve beer or the like. I think the Olive Reader had some literary quote ones from a while back.
